To clean up spills in your oven, sprinkle the spills immediately with table salt and when oven has cooled; wipe away using a damp sponge with Watkins All Purpose Cleaner. Will leave your oven spotless and shiny!

Apple Cider Chicken
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and Watkins Black Pepper
1/2 onion, chopped
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced into 1/4 inch wedges
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp Watkins Tyme
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups apple cider

Heat oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to pan and sear till golden. Remove chicken from pan and set aside. Add remaining butter and onion, apple, garlic, thyme and bay leaves. Saute until apple begins to color and onions soften. Add flour and stir 2 to 3 minutes. Put chicken back into pan and add cider. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and cover. Cook till chicken is cooked through. Makes 4 servings.

Brown Rice-Stuffed Peppers
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp olive oil
3 1/2 cups chicken broth made from 3 1/2 cups boiling water and 5 1/4 teaspoons Watkins Chicken Soup Base
1 1/2 cups long-grain brown rice
1/2 tsp Watkins Oregano
1/2 tsp Watkins Basil
1/2 tsp Watkins Granulated Black Pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp Watkins Paprika
1 14-1/2-oz can diced tomatoes, drained
1 11-oz can whole-kernel corn with bell peppers, drained
8 small green, yellow or red bell peppers

1. In a large saucepan, cook onion and garlic in oil over medium heat until onion is tender, about 5 min. Stir in broth and bring to a boil; add rice, oregano, basil, black pepper, salt and paprika. Simmer, covered, about 40 min or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in tomatoes and corn and heat through.
2. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Slice 1/2 inch off tops of bell peppers and set aside; remove seeds. In a baking dish, arrange peppers in a single layer and fill each with rice mixture; cover with pepper tops. Tent peppers with foil and bake until just tender and rice is heated through, about 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.

Cheesy Grilled BBQ Chicken Wraps
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup Watkins Gourmet Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
4 flour tortillas (10 inch), warmed
1 cup finely shredded four cheese mix
2 cups shredded lettuce

Grill chicken 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until done (165ºF), brushing with 1/4 cup sauce during the last few minutes. Cut into strips.

Spoon remaining sauce down centers of tortillas; top with chicken, cheese and lettuce.

Fold in opposite sides of tortillas, then roll up burrito-style.

Serve with a side of rice and beans to round out the meal.

To warm tortillas on grill, stack and wrap in foil. Grill alongside chicken 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until tortillas are warmed.

Zucchini Banana Bread
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon Watkins Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Watkins Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 teaspoon Watkins Banana Extract
1/2 teaspoon Watkins Vanilla Extract
1 cup shredded zucchini
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a small bowl, beat the egg, bananas, oil and extracts. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in zucchini and walnuts.

Transfer to three 5-3/4-inch x 3-inch x 2-inch loaf pans coated with cooking spray and flour. Bake at 325 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Yield: 3 mini loaves (6 slices each).

Mint Chocolate Cookie Crunch
3 packages (12 ounces each) semisweet chocolate chips
1 to 1-1/2 teaspoons Watkins Peppermint Extract
1 package (20 ounces) chocolate cream-filled sandwich cookies, coarsely crushed
4 cups crisp rice cereal

Line baking sheets with waxed paper; set aside. In a microwave or heavy saucepan, carefully melt chocolate chips. Stir in extract. Combine cookies and cereal in a large bowl. Add chocolate mixture and stir to coat. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets; cool. Store in airtight containers at room temperature. Yield: about 8 dozen.
