Mock Sour Cream Blend until smooth.
Vanilla Cream Cheese Dip Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth. Chill 1-2 hours. Serve with assorted fruit, such as pineapple, apples, pears or strawberries. Makes 2 cups. For a deilicious variation Prepare as directed, adding 1 tablespoon orange juice, 1 teaspoon orange zest and a dash of Watkins Ground Ginger or add 4 tablespoons Watkins Mandarin Orange Dip Mix. How to Soften Cream Cheese Place completely unwrapped package of cream cheese on microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 10 to 15 sec. or until slightly softened. Easily remove marshmallow creme from jar Remove lid and seal. Microwave on HIGH 30 sec. before removing marshmallow creme from jar.
Summer Vegetable Dip Place cottage cheese and sour cream in blender or food processor container; process until smooth. Mix in chopped pepper, onion, lemon pepper, and seasoning salt. Chill. Serve with assorted vegetable dippers, crackers, or chips.
Steak and Mushroom Kabobs In a large bowl, combine the wine, oil, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, marjoram, and oregano. Add the steak and the mushrooms and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 or 2 hours. Coat a grill rack or broiler-pan rack with cooking spray. Preheat the grill or broiler. Drain and discard the marinade. Thread the meat and the mushrooms onto 4 metal skewers. Grill over hot coals or broil 4” from the heat, turning occasionally, for 7 minutes, or until the meat is no longer pink. Metal Skewers are very hot so use mit or pot holder when turning.
Zucchini Chocolate Cake
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
Zucchini Cake
Frosting In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Combine oil and eggs; add to dry ingredients and mix well. Add zucchini; stir until thoroughly combined. Fold in walnuts if desired. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool. For frosting, in a small bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, milk and vanilla until smooth. Add confectioners' sugar and mix well. Frost cake. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 20-24 servings.
